Despite its different meanings, shapes are very effective in logo designs because of their simplicity and flexibility. You could create a wide range of illustration and images by using all the shapes available, or by combining them to form interesting patterns. You could even create a shape out of grouping another shape, e.g. a group of circles to form a triangle.
